FC Cincinnati 2 today announced the club’s full regular season schedule for the upcoming 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season, in conjunction with the league’s full schedule release. The Orange and Blue, playing their fourth season in MLS NEXT Pro, are set to defend their 2024 Eastern Conference Regular Season title on March 9 and conclude on October 5.

FCC 2 will host Toronto FC II on Sunday, March 9 at Scudamore Field at NKU Soccer Stadium at 6 p.m. ET to open the year. The Orange and Blue have faced the Young Reds in three of the club’s four home opening matches in MLS NEXT Pro since beginning play in 2022. Ticketing information for all 2025 home matches at Scudamore Field at NKU Soccer Stadium will be released at a later date.

The Orange and Blue will play five of their first seven matches at home, including an early season matchup against in-state rival Columbus Crew 2 on Sunday, April 13 at 6 p.m. ET. After three regular season meetings against Crew 2 in 2024, the two Ohio based clubs will play just twice in 2025. The reverse fixture against Columbus comes just over a month after the first meeting on Sunday, May 18 at Historic Crew Stadium at 3 p.m. ET.

The club hosts Atlanta United 2 on Sunday, April 27 before facing a lengthy summer road stretch where FCC 2 will play just four home matches from the end of April through mid-August. During that time, the Orange and Blue will play two sets of three consecutive road matches, with two home matches to break up the road trip (Philadelphia Union 2 – Sunday, June 1; Toronto FC II – Sunday June 8).

FCC 2 will once again host an MLS NEXT Pro match at TQL Stadium in the club’s penultimate match of the season when they face New York Red Bulls II on Sunday, September 28 at 6 p.m. ET. The Orange and Blue are unbeaten at the venue since the league’s inaugural season in 2022, claiming two regulation wins against New York City FC II (2023) and Orlando City B (2024), and a shootout win against Columbus Crew 2 (2022). Ticketing information for September’s match will be released at a later date.

The Orange and Blue travel to Orlando, Florida on Sunday, October 5 for an MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day match against Orlando City B. The match marks the third consecutive year in which FCC 2 will close out the regular season against Orlando, with each team earning a victory in the previous final day matches. All Eastern Conference Decision Day matches will kick off at 1 p.m. ET.

FCC 2 remain in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference in 2025 and will look to qualify for the MLS NEXT Pro playoffs for the second consecutive season after clinching the top spot in the conference in 2024. The MLS NEXT Pro playoff format remains unchanged from last season in which eight teams from each conference qualifying for the postseason competition. Matchups for the first two rounds of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs will continue to be determined by the league’s ‘Pick-Your-Opponent’ style format, with the first round beginning the weekend of October 17. MLS NEXT Pro Cup is scheduled to take place on the weekend of November 7.

For the third consecutive year, the majority of regular season matches, in addition to all
Decision Day matches, playoff matches and MLS NEXT Pro Cup, will be available to watch live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. The remainder of regular season matches will stream live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
